Abstract: |
In the context of territorial spatial planning, the judicious
control of urban ecological space emerges as a vital measure for
the preservation of nature and human well-being, and a crucial
determinant for ensuring the sustainable development of cities in
the contemporary era of ecological civilization construction. This
paper provides clear definitions and analysis of the concept and
connotation of urban ecological space. Based on this, it analyzes
the research hotspots and evolution trends in literature pertaining
to urban ecological space at both national and international levels,
by Citespace. Then it systematically sorts out the current research
progress in the related fields from four aspects: identification and
evaluation, pattern, optimization and control strategy of urban
ecological space, and comments on the key points and shortcomings
of relevant research under the background of territorial spatial
planning. Finally, considering the current policy context, practical
challenges, and acknowledging disparities between domestic and
international research, this paper proposes four primary directions
for future research and practice of ecological space. These directions
aim to serve as a valuable reference for the development of urban
and regional ecological space in China. |
