Abstract: |
Taking Yokohama National University campus green
space as an example, and using Spearman Related Analysis and
Redundancy Analysis (RDA), the quantitative and diversity
characteristics of soil arthropods were analyzed, and the impacts of
plant community to soil arthropod community were evaluated. 1) A
total of 6,984 soil arthropods were collected, and distributed among
140 families, 30 orders and 8 classes. 3 orders (such as Isopoda)
were the dominant orders of macro-arthropod, and 4 orders (such as
Oribatida) were the dominant orders of micro-arthropod. 2) There
were significant differences in arthropod densities among different
plots within 6 orders (such as Lithobiomorpha) and within 13 families
(such as Onychiuridae). There were highly significant differences in the
arthropod density among different plots within 1 order (Amphipoda)
and within 2 families (such as Talitridae). The result indicated that
Chilenophilidae was an indicator family of Satoyama grass. 3) There
were significant differences in the abundance and α-diversity of soil
arthropods among different plots. There was high similarity in the
β-diversity of road forest and other plots, the β-diversity of grassland
and other plots had the lowest similarity. 4) The 6 indexes of soil
arthropod community, such as soil arthropod abundance, had
closely associations with the plant community factors (including
community structure, litter thickness, ground cover, Shannon–
Wiener index and Pielou evenness index of ground plants). The
litter thickness of plant communities is the main actor impacting the
soil arthropod community. The results will provide a basis for urban
green space planning, design, construction, and management, as
well as urban biodiversity conservation and enhancement. |
