Abstract: |
The practical consequences of the mismatch and
imbalance between supply and demand of public green space
recreation services caused by rapid urbanization have led to an
in-depth discussion of the social equity of public green space
allocation in the academic community. Taking the central urban area
of Chengdu, one of the megacities, as an example, and based on
the value position of social equity and the key consideration of life
circle construction, this paper measures the accessibility of public
green space from three aspects of "supply, traffic, and demand", and
comprehensively analyzes the hierarchical distribution relationship
of the corresponding community life circle and the correlation with
the spatial distribution of different social groups. The study found
that the social equity of public green space allocation in the central
urban area of Chengdu is generally good. The accessibility level
of public green space in the community life circle of the central
city is equivalent. From the scale of the central urban area, the
accessibility of public green space from the perspective of social
equity has an obvious "core-periphery" structure. In this regard, this
paper proposes to build social equity on the cognitive basis of the
cognition of "conditional equity", and the research object focuses on
urban public green space which has a more obvious and important
impact on social equity. |
