Abstract: |
Nature recreation is one of the main drivers for
the construction of nature reserves in China. Identifying the
characteristics of recreational flow in nature reserves and revealing
its influencing factors is a prerequisite for the organization of nature
recreation based on multiple nature reserves. Sixty protected areas
in the core area of Wuhan metropolitan area were selected as the
research objects, the network characteristics of recreational flow
in protected areas were revealed through social network analysis,
and the influencing factors were explored by QAP analysis. The
results showed as follows: 1) The recreational flow in the natural
protected area presents a spatial structure of "large dispersion and
small gathering" with the "East Lake Scenic Area" as the core.
The overall density of the recreational flow network is low, and
the characteristics of the small world are not significant. Five
communities are divided, including "Dongpo Chibi Scenic Area"
and "East Lake Scenic Area". 2) Recreational flow in protected
areas is affected by multiple factors, such as spatial proximity,
convenient transportation, network visibility, level of economic
development and capacity of recreational service development. In
order to strengthen the links between natural protected areas, some
suggestions on recreation planning are put forward from the aspects
of scenic byway construction, service facilities improvement, and
recreation pedigrees construction. |
