| “园外园”一期两山片区处于皇家园林群中，其田园景观的营造既要有皇家——御苑的特征，更要体现农耕文化的田园意趣。全园种植设计主要借鉴中国传统园林种植设计的理念和手法，参考明清时期皇家园林常用植物，如油松(Pinus tabulaeformis)、桧柏(Sabina chinensis)、垂柳(Salix babylonica)、杏(Prunus vulgaris)、水稻(Oryza sativa)等，来营造御苑、田园景观。御苑的体现主要通过主题景观如“幽林晚钟”“御道夕峰”等，配植如高杆型油松、蜡梅等观赏价值高且有美好寓意的植物，“以景达意”。农耕文化区，以大面积的稻田景观突出主题，结合乡土植物的自然配植，体现田园景观的生境美、自然美和意境美。 |

| The Two-Mountains Area of phase one the "Summer Palace Outside Garden" is being in the Imperial Garden Cluster, and its construction is featured in imperial garden and pastoral landscape of farming culture. The planting design draws on the experience of concepts and methods of traditional garden planting design, and uses some plants that are frequently applied in Ming & Qing imperial gardens, such as Pinus tabulaeformis, Sabina chinensis, Salix babylonica, Prunus vulgaris, Oryza sativaetc, to create imperial and pastoral landscape. The imperial landscape is mainly reflected through theme scenic spots of "You Lin Wan Zhong", and "Yu Dao Xi Feng", and plants of Pinus tabulaeformis, Chimonanthus praecox etc., with high ornamental value and symbolic significance. The area of farming culture highlights the paddy landscape, combined with the natural distribution of native plants, and reflects the environmental, natural, and poetic beauty of pastoral landscape. |
