Abstract: |
Optimizing the layout of public seats is an important
measure to improve the outdoor environment quality of commercial
pedestrian streets. Taking the public seats in Beijing Wangfujing
Pedestrian Street as the research object, this research uses Ecotect
to simulate the venue and collects the projection occlusion data of
the seats, and adopts the behavior annotation method to investigate
the distribution of sitting behavior of the crowd. Through the SPSS
linear regression analysis to study the correlation between the seat
elements and behavioral characteristics, the purpose is to prove that
the projection of the seated occlusion has a greater impact on the
sitting behavior of the crowd. It is found that the number of seat
users has a strong correlation with the length of shadow shading in
summer, but a weak correlation in spring and autumn; the projection
shading rate of public seating is the most common environmental
factor affecting the generation of sitting behavior compared to
the number of seats and type of business. Then, based on the
projected occlusion analysis of simulations during the study period,
optimization suggestions are proposed for the layout of public
seating, in order to create a humanized public sitting space and
enhance the commercial and recreational value of the commercial
pedestrian street. |
