| 地形地貌条件是决定人类对地表景观开发的关键因
素，以土地开发时序为主要脉络是探究聚落形成机制的关键。
基于涠洲岛地形地貌，通过多次田野调查、文献查阅、历史卫
星地图收集等研究方法，以土地开发为时间轴线，总结归纳
出受涠洲岛地形地貌影响下的聚落景观特征：1)土地开发历
程围绕该岛各个地貌单元展开，聚落选址与各地貌单元关系紧
密；2)南、北聚落分布高程与坡度值的不同，导致人口承载
力存在差异，在移民人口增加的情况下，呈现聚落斑块北大南
小、聚落密度北低南高的景观差异；3)具有抵御风灾的多层
级防灾景观特征；4)海岛资源限制下，利用特有的石材建造
民居景观。通过涠洲岛这一小型热带海岛聚落景观的研究，试
图挖掘小型海岛的开发历史，在中国建设以岛屿为“海洋第二
经济带”的时代背景下，具有重要意义。 |

| Research on the Landscape Characteristics of Traditional Settlement under the Influence of Topographic Factors—A Case of Weizhou Island in Beibu Gulf |

| Topographical conditions are the key factors that are
influencing the interaction of natural and anthropic processes in a
specific area, and the timing sequence of land development is the
intrinsic factor of the settlement formation mechanism. Based on the
topography of Weizhou Island, through field research, literature study
review and historical satellite map collection, the paper combined with
the time series of land development, and summarized the landscape
features that influenced by Weizhou Island topography as the following:
1) Each time zone of land development is based on the specific
geomorphic units on the island, and site selections also have a close
relationship with the geomorphic units; 2) The various site selections
caused the settlements to have different population carrying capacity,
under the situation of the increasing immigrant populations, leading
to the discrepancy in patch and density of settlements. Moreover, the
landscape space of the northern island is organized by the structure
of the ancient lagoons-the ancient sandbank-the sandy beach, and the
landscape pattern of the southern island is formed by the hill-coastline
structure; 3) Multi-level landscape systems can resist wind disaster;
4) Under the limited resources situation, a residential landscape is
built with unique stone materials. Based on the research of landscape
characteristics in Weizhou Island, this paper is trying to explore the
history and experiences of land development in the small size island,
which is of great significance under the background of constructing the
island as China's "second ocean economic belt" |
