Abstract: |
The aquatic plants of Juncus effusus, Acorus calamus, Eichhornia crassipes, and Sagittaria sagittifolia were mix cropped pairwise in hydroponic culture system. The effects of different pairwise combination patterns on removing of Cr6+, Zn2+, Pb2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+ and the effect of metals ions enrichment characteristics and translocation factors were studies. The results showed that the combination of aquatic plants had relative specificity for the enrichment of metals, and the selection of a suitable combination of aquatic plants was beneficial to increase the enrichment of metals ions. Among them, the combination of (Juncus effuses ‖ Eichhornia crassipes) and (Juncus effuses ‖ Sagittaria sagittifolia) is beneficial to the enrichment of Cr6+; the combination of (Juncus effuses ‖ Acorus calamus), (Acorus calamus ‖ Sagittaria sagittifolia) and (Eichhornia crassipes ‖ Sagittaria sagittifolia) is favorable to the enrichment of Zn2+; the (Eichhornia crassipes ‖ Sagittaria sagittifolia) combination is beneficial to the enrichment of Pb2+; the (Juncus effuses ‖ Eichhornia crassipes) and (Juncus effuses ‖ Sagittaria sagittifolia) combination are beneficial to the enrichment of Ni2+; (Juncus effuses ‖ Eichhornia crassipes), (Juncus effuses ‖ Sagittaria sagittifolia) and (Acorus calamus ‖ Sagittaria sagittifolia) combination are favorable to enrichment of Cu2+. In terms of the translocation factors, combinations of (Eichhornia crassipes ‖ Juncus effusus) mutually promoted the transport of Zn2+, and the same goes for (Eichhornia crassipes ‖ Acorus calamus). When Eichhornia crassipes coexisted with Juncus effusus, they mutually promoted the transport of Ni2+. |
