| 古代岭南州府城市近郊的风景园林，如惠州西湖、潮州西湖、邕州(南宁)南湖和桂州(桂林)西湖等，都是与古代岭南州府城市伴生的大型山水风景园林。这些风景营造得到了古代岭南州府城市在各个层面的支持，其自身运作也在一定程度上服务了古代州府城市的发展，因此呈现出一系列的“公共性”特征。对于此类园林“公共性”的理解，则需要从“公共”这个概念本身出发。从管治、使用2个主要方面来考察具体的园林实践，进而揭示了古代州府城市近郊风景作为一种“古典公共园林”的事实存在。 |

| Analysis of the Publicity of the Landscapes in the Suburbs of the Ancient Prefecture Center Cities in Lingnan Area |

| Abstract: |
| The landscapes in the suburbs of the prefecture center cities in the ancient Lingnan area, including Huizhou West Lake, Chaozhou West Lake, Yongzhou (Nanning) South Lake, and Guizhou (Guilin) West Lake, were large scale landscapes of water and mountains associated with the ancient cities. Their creation were supported by the city governments in all aspects, and their operation fed back the development of the cities, and therefore they showed a number of characteristics of "publicity". For the understanding of the "publicity" of this kind of landscapes, it shall start from the concept of the "public" and investigate the practice of landscaping based on governance and usage. It further reveals that the landscapes in the suburbs of the ancient prefecture center cities existed as a type of "classical public garden". |
